Mark's background in computer technology began over 20 years ago. His professional experience includes the co-development of an internet-based supply chain for North America's auto parts industry, sales and marketing computer services for commercial real estate projects, and is the co-creator of the Tenetro® e-Learning system. Shahin Maghsoudi (Technical Director)

Shahin has a MSc. Hon. in computer science majoring in artificial intelligence from the University of Auckland and a BSc. in systems engineering. He is working on adding common-sense reasoning to artificial intelligence core of the Simulated Androids.

He has been working in multi-media systems development industry in last two decades and is guest lecturer of multimedia course in the University of Auckland, NZ, and guest lecturer of artificial intelligence course in Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa, USA, and is founder of the Robot-Hosting.

The technology he developed for Robot-Hosting received several awards including the Multimedia Award in 2004 from the University of Auckland. The highlights of unique systems functions are outlined in two academic papers that he has published in computer science and cybernetics journals and a book that was published by Vdm Verlag in 2008.

Peter Savage (Financial Director)

He has over seventeen years commercial and project-finance experience in the banking and finance sector after graduating from Auckland University with a bachelor's degree in commerce, accountancy and finance. His industry experience includes manufacturing, property, transport, power-generation, telecommunications, new technology, and internet sectors, where he has advised on working-, development-, and acquisition-capital transactions. He has held various appointments with UDC Finance and ANZ Banking Group as a commercial lender, Trilogy Business Systems as a commercial accountant and as an equities analyst with Hamelyn Group, a merchant investment bank. Peter's initial career was in civil engineering.

Dr. Alexander Kavokin, (Academic Advisor, Health Care)

Dr. Kavokin graduated from the Russian State Medical University in Moscow as a Clinical Physician in 1994. He has done his first post doctoral research in Medical University of South Carolina, USA and has done his second post doctoral research in Cardiology and Molecular Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine, Connecticut, USA.

He has been working at Philadelphia Hospital in Surgery Department which is affiliated with Drexel University. Since 2006 he has been working at the Moscow Hospital while supervising the medical aspects of our Nurse-Robot and Doctor-Robot projects.

Dr. Hunter ("Patch") Adams, (Academic Advisor, Health Care)

Dr. Adams inspired millions by bringing fun and love back into the hospital world. He has put into practice the principle that "healing should be a loving human interchange, not a business transaction" for more than 30 years.

He is the founder and director of the Gesundheit Institute in Virginia, USA, a medical community that has provided free medical care to thousands of patients since it began in 1971. He is an enthusiastic advisor to our Doctor-Robot project.

Dr. Richard Wallace (Academic Advisor)

Dr. Richard S. Wallace earned his Ph.D. in computer science from Carnegie Mellon in 1989. He is a respected and famous computer scientist and his work has been featured in the Guardian, the Financial Times, Scientific American, The New York Times, WIRED, Salon, L. A. Weekly, Slashdot, USA Today, Nature, the San Diego Union -Tribune, New York Post, Premiere and Entertainment Weekly, and on ABC, BBC, CNN, CNET, TechTV, and ZDNet, in feature films and in numerous foreign language publications across Asia, Latin America and Europe. His research won the Loebner Prize, an annual artificial intelligence competition in 2000, 2001 and 2004.

Dr. Emilia Mendes (Academic Advisor, R&D Project)

Dr. Mendes is a senior lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Auckland. Her research interests are software end Web engineering, more specifically in software/Web measurement and their application to quality control and development effort prediction. She is also interested in computer science education, and usability engineering. She received a PhD in computer science from the University of Southampton, U.K.

Peder Ydalus (Technical Advisor - R&D)

He has a MSc. in computer science. It is enough to say that he is proficient in 13 computer languages. Flash, 3DMax, C#, PHP, DHTML, HTML, CSS, JS, VB, Python, XML, Java, AJAX, TCL/TLK

Kim Sullivan (Programmer - R&D)

Kim has a MSc in Computer Science. His main specialization is systems programming, compilers, grammars, finite automata and pattern matching, but he's also interested in computer graphics, databases and software development methodologies.

He has been involved with Natural Language Processing since year 2000, and has written two NLP interpreter systems. He participated as a developer on the largest Czech bittorrent tracker and created an application for a SMS based contest and has plenty of experience in tech support. Bogdan Brezuica (Programmer - R&D)

Bogdan has a BSc in Computer Science and eight years experience in programming for different companies. He also has experience in UNIX, Windows servers, database administration and network administration. SQL, PHP, HTML, DHTML, CSS, Delphi, FoxPro, Visual FoxPro

Bin Shen (Programmer)

He holds a BSc in Software Engineering from the University of Victoria, Canada. He has been instrumental in the planning for our latest projects, along with the design of systems. He is specialized in Networking, Distributed Systems and the Internet, Object Oriented Software Development, Data Structures and Ergonomics.

Mike Swain (Programmer)

He has a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Central Lancashire in the UK. Briefly, Mike is a guru in Ajax, XML, C++, ... and you name it, he either knows it or learns it with lightning speed.

Chris Anderson (Instructional Designer)

He has a MSc. (Computer Science) from the University of Auckland and has been working in the Hypermedia unit of the University for more than a decade. He has been teaching and running the Hypermedia unit and has plenty of knowledge and expereince in commercial and educational instructional design, many (alomst all) multimedia technologies, digital video editing

Stian Grepstad (Programmer)

He is a bright programmer. He is excellent in most web technologies, including: PHP, DHTML, HTML, CSS, JS, VB
